The pandemic puppies are coming of age. Parks are full of toddler cockapoos and labradors, tangled leads in the grip of well-remunerated dog walkers. I can only lament the lack of a listed doggy day-care provider to invest in.

But more pets — three million households have bought one since the start of the pandemic— mean more vets’ bills, and more vets’ bills spark interest in Dechra Pharmaceuticals.
